"Freestylin'" is a semi-regular spot on The Tonight Show where house band The Roots improvise a song about an audience member based on a little information obtained via a chat from host Jimmy Fallon.

On Thursday night Fallon pulled surprise guest Dave Chappelle from the studio audience. Providing details for the song, he said he is about to perform 14 shows at Radio City Hall with a lot of special artists. He also said his super power would be "disappearing for long periods of time" and that his one weakness is "the need for money." Chappelle recently expanded his previously announced residency at New York City's Radio City Music Hall, extending the series from 11 to 14 shows and adding Chance The Rapper, Lauryn Hill, and Yasiin Bey to the list of performers.

Chappelle's residency will take place between August 1 and 24 and feature additional performances from announced guests Childish Gambino, Erykah Badu, Chris Rock, the Roots, Trevor Noah, and Ali Wong.
