His relatives, Kream writes, were trapped in their flooded house in the suburb of Alief last weekend. But then, "word got out," and his fans showed up and rescued them. "Not only that, [they] came back and help[ed] clean up the house," Kream wrote on Instagram.

After this act of generosity, Kream is giving back, and is helping out other families around Alief with the same fans who helped his own. "I'm grabbin my crew of fans that helped my family and we goin out helping all the family's across the city."

At the bottom of the story, he links to a GoFundMe raising funds for a storm victim, but urges that manpower is also important. "I'm not worried about money I only ask that if yu come out yu lend a helping hand."

Another Texas rapper, Trae Tha Truth, is participating in relief efforts around the city of Houston.
