Netflix has shared the trailer for Roxanne Roxanne, an upcoming biopic on Roxanne Shanté, a Queens battle rapper who rose to prominence in the early 1980s when she was just 14. The film is directed by Michael Larnell, and stars Chanté Adams, Nia Long, and Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali. Watch the trailer for Roxanne Roxanne above before it's available to stream on Netflix March 23.

Other anticipated Netflix titles include Tuca & Bertie, an animated series from a producer of Bojack Horseman starring Tiffany Haddish, and The Umbrella Academy, a live-action series based on comics by Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance and co-starring Mary J. Blige.
