One of the first to reply to the tweet was Janelle Monáe, no stranger to an iconic visual herself. Missy Elliott's response was an emoji-filled gushing of the highest order.
This is where things started to get a little Lupita Nyong’o and Rihanna scammer movie. First Monáe joked that she was already on set and waiting for her director. Then Tessa Thompson, who stars in Monáe's "Make Me Feel" video, said she wanted in on the project too.
Fingers crossed this one becomes a reality. The next Dirty Computer single, perhaps?
