Pusha-T references Drake ghostwriting scandal in new song
“Infrared,” a song from Pusha’s upcoming album DAYTONA, could reignite their longstanding feud.
A recording of the lyrics in question — "It was written like Nas but it came from Quentin" — emerged on Wednesday during a DAYTONA listening event attended by Complex. In the clip, streaming above, Pusha references the ghostwriting scandal that emerged in 2015 soon after Meek Mill tweeted that Drake "don't write his own raps!" Quentin Miller was identified as a ghostwriter for Drake, a charge Miller denied.
Drake and Pusha-T have traded disses in music over the years. Pusha started the feud on a remix of Drake's "Don't Fuck With Me," and the two rappers continued to trade barbs with Drake most recently responding on "Two Birds, One Stone" from 2017's More Life. Here's the verse in question via Genius:
