A breezy track for any and all summer activities.

In October of last year, New Zealand dream-pop group Yumi Zouma released Willowbank, their excellent sophomore LP. Today, they debut the new video for the opening track "Depths (Pt. I)," a breezy little track with Christie Simpson's wonderfully light vocals that feel like the audio equivalent of driving in a car top-down, wind in your hair.

The video is just the band performing in a white studio space with quirky Matisse-esque illustrations, but it's charming in its simplicity and joy. Of the video, guitarist Josh Burgess wrote via email, "Sometimes a haiku says it best: ‘Animate your life / Dance with your friends together / Like Yumi Zouma.’" No need to tell me twice. Check out the video above and see the band's upcoming tour dates below, including a show at Brooklyn's Elsewhere to celebrate the eighth anniversary of indie label Cascine.

Thu. Oct 4 - Brooklyn, NY @ Elsewhere (Cascine’s 8th Birthday Party)
Fri. Oct 5 - San Francisco, CA @ Swedish American Hall
Sat. Oct 6 - Los Angeles, CA @ Zebulon
