Earlier this summer, in Ariana Grande's FADER cover story, she likened early mornings at her house in Los Angeles to a “yummy dream cloudland." There's perhaps no better descriptor for her new record, Sweetener. It's Ari at the top of her game; an immaculate testament to the very real power of pop music amid turbulence.
Sweetener, which was announced back in spring, boasts production from Max Martin and Pharrell (who appears on "Blazed"). The record also features appearances from Missy Elliott and Nicki Minaj, as well as Ari's takes on songs by Imogen Heap and The Four Seasons.
