Mac Miller’s GO:OD AM has officially gone gold

The accolade comes three years after its release.

Mac Miller just received a posthumous certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The late rapper's third studio album, GO:OD AM, has earned a gold status last week, meaning that it sold 500,000 units.
According to the RIAA, the album, which came out in 2015, became certified on October 26. This is the second album of Miller's to go gold ― Blue Slide Park, Miller's debut album, went gold this May.

The 17-track album, which boasted features from Chief Keef, Ab-Soul, Little Dragon, and more, peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
