Kamasi Washington announces new film As Told To G/D Thyself will premiere at Sundance

Last week, Sundance unveiled the roster for the 2019 iteration of the film festival. Today, Kamasi Washington added his name to the slate with the announcement that his short film As Told To G/D Thyself will make it's debut at the Utah cinephile gathering. The film is directed by Ummah Chroma, a collective made up of Washington, Bradford Young, Terence Nance, Jenn Nkiru, and Marc Thomas. Washington also revealed its poster, which can be seen below.
