Michelle Obama has extended the promotional tour for her memoir Becoming into 2019. The new live appearances, billed "An intimate conversation with Michelle Obama," will take place in theaters and arenas across North America and Europe from February 8.

The run of live appearances includes stops in Tacoma, Portland, Phoenix, Austin, Houston, and Alberta, Canada among others. International dates in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, France, England, and the Netherlands.

Confirming the dates on Twitter, Obama wrote: "I’m having so much fun with all of you on my #IAmBecoming tour that I decided to do one final round of events to see folks in some cities we missed! These conversations have been so meaningful for me, and I hope they’ve been meaningful for you all, too."

Obama hit the road this November following the release of Becoming. The hugely-popular tour included appearances from Oprah, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Reese Witherspoon among others.

Becoming is the best-selling book of 2018, with over 1m copies sold in its first week alone. Crown Publishing confirmed that the title sold 1.4m copies in the U.S. and Canada alone in the week following its November 13 release.

Tickets for Obama's 2019 tour will go on sale on Saturday December 15 here.
