Charli XCX's "1999" is an ode to all things late '90s, from lyrics referencing Britney songs to a music video in which she and Troye Sivan cosplay as characters from The Matrix. However, her latest promo stunt for the single has raised the bar. There is now an official Charli XCX Tamagotchi.
The handheld digital pets were a huge deal pre-millenium and a group of lucky competiton winners will be able to get their hands on an XCX-branded model. To enter the competition you have to create a 1999-themed playlist in one of the following categories: Girls v Boys, Movies, Rap Stars, or Love Songs. A selection of playlists will be selected with the creators getting a Tamagotchi. Click here for more details.
