The first single from The 1975’s new album is coming in May

Matty Healy divulged during a Beats One interview with Christine and the Queens.

Last night The 1975 scooped album of the year at the annual BRIT awards for their fantastic A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships. As many fans know, that record will soon be followed by another, Notes on a Conditional Form, which the band has been teasing since before A Brief Inquiry dropped last year.

Now, Matty Healy has confirmed that we can expect to see the first track off the album this spring— May 31st at midnight, to be precise. In an interview with Christine and the Queens on Beats One, Healy also revealed that the band is currently deciding between three songs to find the perfect lead single.
