Anderson .Paak was the musical guest on Jimmy Fallon's show on Thursday night, performing live and also sitting down for a chat with the host.

.Paak performed "Trippy" from his 2018 album Oxnard and later told Fallon about the recording sessions for the album with executive producer Dr. Dre. According to .Paak, both he and Dre are perfectionists and ended up with two albums worth of material from their time in the studio. "I made a lot of music with Dr. Dre, like, probably two albums' worth and honestly it's music that I really feel like getting out," he said.
