Beyoncé and Adidas announced a new "multi-layered partnership" on Thursday. Bey will serve as a creative partner for the brand and will relaunch her Ivy Park label under Adidas, along with helping in the development of new footwear, lifestyle, and sports apparel.
"This is the partnership of a lifetime for me," Beyoncé said in a statement. "Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.”
Late last year, Beyoncé and her Parkwood company ended their professional relationship with Top Shop, buying Brtish Tycoon and Ivy Park partner Sir Philip Green's remaining shares in the company amid allegations of sexual assault against him.
