After revealing plans to release a poetry book titled Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass back in January and sharing pieces on Instagram over the last few months, we won't have to wait too much longer to read more of singer-songwriter's words, as some of her stanzas will appear in the latest issue of Vogue Italia.

Lana took to Instagram to share that some of her poetry will be in the issue, adding a few lines in the post's caption to go along with her cover. "May my eyes always stay level to the horizon/ may they never gaze as high as heaven/ to ask why/ may I never go where angels fear to tread/ so as to have to ask for answers in the sky,’" she shared, later adding, "Keep reading my poems on the pages of #VogueItalia".

In a now-deleted Instagram post from earlier this year, the singer revealed she has been working on her short book of poems for over a year and has been sharing snippets consistently since then. She later revealed she planned to sell the book for $1.
