Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors played his first game of the NBA Finals last night against the Toronto Raptors after spending a month off the courts with a strained calf. The star played for 12 minutes, scoring 11 points, before falling to the floor — escorted off the court, Durant was diagnosed with an Achilles injury, a potentially serious affliction that can keep players off the court for a year or longer.

In spite — or because of — the jubilant and widely-condemned response of Raptors' fans to the injury, Drake offered his condolences in an Instagram post after the game. "Was tough for any of us to even enjoy that game tonight after seeing this transpire," Drake wrote of the injury in the photograph's caption. "Praying for our brother. That’s my only concern tonight is your well being."

See the post below. Drake has called Durant "family" in the past, and invited the player to OVO Fest in 2016.
