Lucki
Chicago rapper Lucki has dropped Days B4 III, his second project of 2019. The mixtape includes no features and follows Freewave 3, which dropped in February. A press release confirms that Days B4 III is the last project Lucki will release before his next studio album. The 15-track tape includes the previously released "4 The Better" plus “Left 4 Dead,” a collaboration with Philly production outfit Working On Dying.
In the latest FADER x WAV Present Frequencies mini-doc Lucki explained how he keeps his work rooted in reality as a way of connecting with fans. "I just be writing what come from my heart," he says in the doc. "That's how you relate to people. You can talk about how great your life is, but people don't relate to that shit because people's life's don't be great." Watch the mini-doc here.
