Watch Timothée Chalamet perform with Kid Cudi

Timothée Chalamet has lived every stan's dream, turning his love for Kid Cudi into an IRL friendship. The two recently attended the premiere of Netflix's The King together and were snapped sharing dinner afterwards.

Naturally, the next step is a collaboration. This weekend offered up a sneak preview of that inevitable moment when Chalamet popped up on stage with Kid Cudi during the rapper's headline performance at ComplexCon in Long Beach, California. Chalamet delivered the spoken word intro to Kudi's 2009 album Man On The Moon: The End of Day, originally performed by Common. You can see fan footage of the moment, which also involved an appearance from Pusha-T, below.

Next year Kid Cudi will return with new music as part of his own animated Netflix series. Alongside Kenya Barris, creator of ABC's black-ish, Cudi will co-write, direct, and executive produce Entergalactic, which "follows a young man on his journey to discover love."
