Thirsty internet users, rejoice! Per a new report from Deadline, Timothée Chalamet — the much-adored star of films such as Call Me By Your Name, Little Women, and Lady Bird — is set to portray Bob Dylan in a new biopic directed by Logan and The Wolverine director James Mangold. (He also made the Johnny Cash biopic Walk The Line.) Deadline states that the film, titled Going Electric, will depict the period “when he was poised to become folk music’s seminal figure … [and] instead embraced rock ’n’ roll and traded his acoustic guitar for an amp and electric guitar.” The report also states that Chalamet is “already taking guitar lessons” in order to portray Dylan.
