The 2020 Academy Awards ceremony — Film’s! Biggest! Night! — is currently underway, and what better way to celebrate all the incredible films that came out over the past 12 months than… watching Eminem perform an 18-year-old song! As the finale of a very confusing montage about the importance of music in film, Eminem took the stage to perform “Lose Yourself,” the 8 Mile theme song that won the Best Original Song Oscar in 2002. The performance, a surprise, seemed to confuse quite a few people, including Billie Eilish and Frozen and Uncut Gems star Idina Menzel.
