Though she didn't release much music in 2019, Lila Iké still managed to be one of the more exciting rising artists to come out of Jamaica with a handful of undeniable tracks. A personal favorite was "Where I'm Coming From," an autobiographical tune that honored her hometown, Christiana, and the strength it took for her to chase her dreams of being a full-time artist. Today on The FADER we're premiering Iké's newest track and video titled, "I Spy," which is so sweet and warm that it'll make you dream that you were on a beach instead of quarantine.

"'I Spy' is a song I came up with while hanging out in Red Hills with Izy," Iké said in an email. "As soon as I heard the beat I knew I wanted it to be a song that was very inviting and has somewhat of a summer feel to it. I started humming the melody which manifested into the words 'I spy, I spy' and the rest of the song just flowed." The song will be featured on the singer's forthcoming EP, The Experience, which will be out on May 15th via the Protoje-led In.Digg.Nation Collective (who just announced a deal with RCA earlier this week).
