For the past four years, Standing On The Corner have been one of the more exciting group's in New York City's underground, joining the world's of jazz and lo-fi rap. On their 2017 project Red Burns (their most recent official release) the group navigated the middle ground of both of those genres perfectly through to 30-minute sides. Today, they released their first track since that project with "Angel." The song is a slow burner, with drawn out harmonies back up by mesmerizing horn play. It also comes with a video titled "Angel (Life and Death of the Earth in the Key of F)" which stars actor Melvin Van Peebles as an astronaut headed towards a black hole. Watch the video above.
