Soon after leaving Vampire Weekend, Rostam Batmanglij became an in-demand pop producer for artists like HAIM and Clairo, and plugged away at a solo career that included 2017's Half-Light LP. On June 4, Rostam will release his sophomore album Changephobia, and the latest track "4Runner" is out today. Joining "4Runner" on the new project are Rostam's two recent singles "Unfold You" and "These Kids We Knew." Stream the visualizer for "4Runner" below:

In a press statement, Rostam described how he set aside familiar musical touchstones for new ones in the writing for the new album. “The harpsichord and the cello are these iconic instruments of baroque music — my love affair with them is obvious from a decade of referencing Bach and using those instruments in songs. But in the last few years, and throughout this album, I became obsessed with the Baritone sax, inspired by jazz on a deeper level than ever before, and wanting to bring those things into my musical world.”
