George Clinton leaves retirement, announces Parliament-Funkadelic tour

The tour starts in New York at Central Park’s Summerstage in June.

March 21, 2022

George Clinton had been making music at the elite level for more than half a century in 2018, when he announced that he'd stop touring after a farewell run the following year. But today, the 80-year-old funk pioneer and founder of Parliament-Funkadelic has shared the news that he'll be rejoining the band this summer for 17 performances across the U.S., starting June 15 at New York's Central Park Summerstage.
