Harry Styles brought the nostalgia with a little help from Lizzo.

On Friday evening, the pair duetted two songs during Styles’ headlining set at Coachella weekend two. Donning matching feathery jackets, Styles and Lizzo started off with a cover of Gloria Gaynor’s 1978 disco staple “I Will Survive,” before moving on to a high-energy performance of One Direction’s 2011 hit “What Makes You Beautiful.”

However, Lizzo’s surprise cameo didn’t come as a complete surprise to fans. Earlier that day, the “Truth Hurts” singer posted a TikTok about being “bored otw to Coachella,” eliciting a number of comments that correctly predicted an appearance during her good friend’s set.

Following the performance, Lizzo later took to Instagram with two posts praising Styles, who she dubbed a “treasure” and “gods gift to rock n roll.”

“The light that comes from him is real and infinite.. he makes being on stage in front of hundreds n thousands easy, cus it’s w a friend,” she wrote alongside the second photo. “His team is incredible— and baby them Gucci coats….?!?? Thank you H, like u said ‘until next time.'”

Additionally, Styles performed a handful of new songs taken from his upcoming album, Harry’s House, including lead single “As It Was.” The former boy bander then went on to play new tracks “Boyfriends” and “Late Night Talking,” which he debuted at the festival last week.

During weekend one, Styles also performed a solo version of "What Makes You Beautiful," before inviting country legend Shania Twain onstage for renditions of her songs “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" and "You're Still the One."

Harry’s House is slated for release on May 20. In the meantime, watch snippets of his performance with Lizzo below.
