On Tuesday, Lady Gaga dropped "Hold My Hand," a single from the soundtrack of Top Gun: Maverick, a sequel to the beloved, high-flying, homoerotic 1986 Tom Cruise vehicle Top Gun. Today, she's shared the track's visuals courtesy of Joe Kosinski, the director of the forthcoming feature.

In the new video, Gaga sings her arena-ready ballad from the point of view of a fighter pilot, her performance interspersed with emotional scenes from Maverick, as well as the original movie. With the subtlety of a ballistic missile, she sings in a flowing dress atop a Steinway grand piano in the middle of a runway as jets zoom past at near-supersonic speeds.

Top Gun: Maverick will arrive in theaters nationwide on May 27.
