Harry Styles partners with voter registration non-profit for ticket giveaway

Harry Styles is giving away a late October trip to help get out the vote this election season. The winner (and a lucky friend) will be flown to Los Angeles, where Styles will be performing a “Harryween” show on the 31st at The Kia Forum in Inglewood. He’s partnering with the non-partisan voter engagement organization HeadCount to facilitate the sweepstakes: Fans who check their registration statuses at this link or by texting “HARRY” to 57568 will be automatically entered into the running. The randomly selected winner will receive airfare and accommodations for two in L.A. along with tickets to the show and a merch package, including a poster signed by Styles himself.

With three more shows left at New York City’s Madison Square Garden over the next eight days, Styles has almost completed the first quarter of his string of U.S. mini-residencies. He’ll head to Austin next and set up shop at the Moody Center for six shows in quick succession before doing the same at Chicago’s United Center. Harryween will be his first of 10 scheduled L.A. shows, matching the 10 he’ll have played in New York to give the cross-country trek a satisfying sense of symmetry. After that, he’ll head south almost immediately for four shows in Mexico and nine in South America, followed by two months of rest, followed by additional touring in Oceania and Europe. Styles became Twitter’s main character last week when a video captured at the Venice Film Festival premiere of Don’t Worry Darling appeared to show him spitting on Chris Pine, his co-star in the film. Pine has denied being spat on and Styles has denied doing the spitting, but speculation continues. During his MSG show last Thursday, he addressed the rumors, joking that he’d “just popped very quickly to Venice to spit on Chris Pine.”
