Meet Me in the Bathroom, the documentary based on Lizzy Goodman’s 2017 book, offers an in-depth version of the NYC indie rock boom of the early 2000s, when bands including Interpol, The Strokes, The Rapture, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs were first blowing up. Goodman's book was an instant hit upon release and a feature-length doc from directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, who have previously made films on Blur and LCD Soundsystem, was promptly ordered.
