On Monday, Kanye West appeared on a livestream titled “Saving Ye” hosted by Gavin McInnes, founder of the far-right extremist organization Proud Boys. During the 45-minute episode, in which West was backed by notorious white supremacist (and his presidential campaign advisor) Nick Fuentes, West demanded that Jewish people “forgive Hitler” for the Holocaust.

The comment came after McInnes said he believes West loves “everyone equally, good guys and bad guys.” West responded “Jewish people can’t tell me who I can love and who I can’t love. You can’t force your pain on everyone else. Jewish people, forgive Hitler today. Let it go. Let it go, and stop trying to force your pain on other people.” Watch the exchange below.

West’s antisemitic comments continued throughout the interview. He repeated the false conspiracy theory that “Jewish people control the majority of the media, along with banks, along with real estate, along with malls.” Elsewhere, he said there was “a collusion of Jewish managers, attorneys, and everything else you can think of” to push pornography on the United States, and referred to the porn industry as a “gas chamber.”

Soon after West’s appearance on Infowars last week, he was suspended from Twitter for tweeting an image of a swastika inside a Star of David. West told McInnes that his intention behind the image was to spread “love speech.”
