The Weeknd and Ariana Grande have shared a new collaboration, the latest in a long line of songs to feature both artists. The new track is a remix of "Die For You," taken from The Weeknd's 2016 album Starboy. It is not immediately clear why the remix has arrived some seven years on from the release of the album, though it is a new recording with Grande sharing a TikTok of herself working in the studio this week.
Over the years The Weeknd and Grande have appeared together on “Love Me Harder,” “Off the Table,” and “Save Your Tears (Remix).” Check out "Die For You" remix below.
In 2022 The Weeknd released his latest album, Dawn FM, and recorded a song for the Oscar-nominated Avatar sequel. He also teased the arrival of his own HBO series The Idol, in which he stars opposite Lily-Rose Depp.
Grande, meanwhile, has kept a low profile in the past couple of years but made her political voice heard in 2022; donating $1.5M to help young trans people as well as speaking out against the decision to overturn Roe v Wade.
