Diddy and Jermaine Dupri will finally be participating in a Verzuz battle. Last August, the two hip-hop execs agreed to battle it out outside of Verzuz after Timbaland and Swizz Beatz filed a lawsuit against Triller for non-payment. The case was settled the following month.

Dupri confirmed on the I AM ATHLETE podcast (recorded in December 2022) that the head-to-head would be coming in 2023. "It's coming next year," Dupri said. "It's gonna be like the Super Bowl."

In an Instagram video posted by Riki P. of The WaveBe Podcast, Diddy reveals a time and place. The clip was originally shared on Busta Rhymes' account.
