Ariana Grande has paid tribute to Mac Miller in the tenth anniversary edition of her debut studio album Yours Truly. The new version contains six live recordings from London, including "The Way" featuring Mac Miller.
Miller's second verse in the live London re-recording of "The Way" gets an orchestral reworking with stirring strings serving as the guide for the late rapper's vocals. "The violins in Mac's main rap made it sound like he's rapping from heaven," one YouTube comment reads. "Your presence will forever remain in our heart[s] Mac, Rest in peace." Stream the song below. The 10th anniversary edition of Yours Truly also includes a "Spanglish Version" of "The Way," in which Grande sings the song partially in Spanish.
Ariana Grande and Mac Miller were longtime friends and collaborators before being linked romantically in 2016. The pair broke up in 2018. Miller tragically passed away in September of that same year due to accidental drug overdose.
