Debby Friday drops new song “let u in”

Debby Friday has returned with her first new single since the release of her debut album, GOOD LUCK, in March. That record won the Polaris prize for best Canadian album of the year just last week, earning Friday a cool 50 grand CAD.
Out today (September 27), “let u in” is a retro dance cut full of washed-out synth pads and sputtering breakbeats. Friday talk-sings nonchalantly over the instrumental in cadences that evoke bittersweet memories of Visions-era Grimes.
