Drake has seemingly ended his cold war with the Grammys after submitting Her Loss, the 2022 album he made with 21 Savage, for awards consideration.

The Hollywood Reporter states that the album has been entered for possible inclusion in the Album of the Year and Best Rap Album categories. "Rich Flex" and "Spin Bout U" from the album will also be available for members to vote for in the Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Melodic Rap Performance categories.

Separately, Drake’s collaborations with Travis Scott (“Meltdown”) and Young Thug (“Oh U Want”) have also been submitted.

Drake last attended the Grammys in 2019 where he won Best Rap Song for "God's Plan." During his speech he suggested artists don't need validation from awards bodies to consider themselves a success. This moment was cut off by the telecast with an ad break.

In 2021 songs from his Certified Lover Boy were nominated in two categories before Drake withdrew the music from consideration. The following year he chose to boycott the awards entirely, refusing to submit anything from his album Honestly, Nevermind.

Drake's latest album, For All The Dogs, was released on Friday. Since the album dropped the rapper has exchanged insults with podcaster Joe Budden and announced he plans to take a year out to deal with a medical issue.
