Dolly Parton is less than a month away from releasing her 49th studio album, Rockstar. The colossal 30-track LP is due out November 17 and features just about everybody — from Paul McCartney to Lizzo, Peter Frampton to Debbie Harry, Ringo Starr to Sting, etc.
Today (October 20), the country legend and reluctant Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee has shared the project’s fifth single. It’s a cover of “Wrecking Ball,” the 2013 track that earned Miley Cyrus her first Grammy nomination and cemented the former child star as a bona fide recording artist. For her rendition, Parton recruits Cyrus herself, singing the song in cinematic tandem with its originator.
