Fireboy DML has shared a new track titled “Oh My.” The song celebrates a romance that has the joyful energy of a honeymoon combined with the deep connection of a long-term relationship. “You are my body, you are my soul / You are my better half, you are my whole,” Fireboy sings on the hook, bouncing over a breezy P. Priime instrumental.
The new song comes with a Jyde Ajala-directed music video that follows younger versions of the Nigerian singer on carefree dates with his partner after their future, older counterparts take a pill that unlocks them from linear time. Per a press release, the song “conveys the idea that their love is not confined by time and will continue to flourish through the ages, symbolizing the timelessness of true affection.”
