Beyoncé has the No.1 movie in the United States. Renaissance, which documents her 2023 tour of the same name, grossed $22 million at the box office this weekend, Deadline reports. Box office org EntTelligence reports that 900,000 people bought tickets for the movie, which opened ahead of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes at No. 2 and Godzilla Minus One.

Renaissance follows Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour movie, which earned the biggest opening weekend for a concert movie in box office history. Box Office Mojo notes that Swift's movie has earned $178 million domestically since it hit theaters on October 13.

The two artists have put on a united front while promoting their respective movies, with Beyoncé appearing at Swift's Los Angeles premiere and Swift returning the favor when Renaissance opened in London.

Renaissance was directed by Beyoncé and includes behind the scenes footage of the making of the tour alongside footage filmed across the globe during the stadium tour. A new song, "My House," plays over the movie's credits and was released to streaming on the day the movie came out.
