Jay-Z and D’Angelo come together on the epic “I Want You Forever”

The near 10-minute song appears on the soundtrack to The Book of Clarence.

Jay-Z and D’Angelo have shared "I Want You Forever." The collaboration clocks in at nine-and-a-half minutes and appears on the soundtrack to The Book of Clarence. Jeymes Samuel, who directed the new movie, also appears on "I Want You Forever." Stream the song in full below.

"I Want You Forever" is the first new music from D'Angelo since 2019's "Unshaken." Speaking at a recent screening of his movie, Samuel described the song as "nine minutes and 32 seconds of absolute soulful, biblical bliss."

Samuel and Jay-Z previously worked together on 2021's The Harder They Fall, on which Jay also contributed music to the soundtrack. The Book of Clarence is in theaters from today, the biblical comedy drama stars Lakeith Stanfield in the lead role, plus Anna Diop, Omar Sy, Micheal Ward, Alfre Woodward, and James McAvoy. The accompanying soundtrack is also out now, featuring music from Lil Wayne, Jorja Smith, Buju Banton, and more.
