Bad Bunny looking out for his fans

You might have noticed that Bad Bunny hasn't performed in the United States this year, despite releasing the huge new album Debí Tirar Más Fotos. That is a deliberate choice, according to new comments he made in an i-D cover story published this week. When asked if his lack of concerts in the USA was due to "concern about [the mass deportations of] Latinos in the United States," Bad Bunny responded, "Man, honestly, yes." He added that "there was the issue of—like, fucking ICE could be outside [my concert]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about."

Human remains found in d4vd's Tesla

d4vd, the artist behind viral hits "Romantic Homicide" and "Here With Me," was at the center of a grizzly story this week after a body was found in his Tesla. The body was discovered on Monday in an impounded 2023 Tesla registered to the singer. Police say they were called after complaints of a strong smell coming from the car, which had been in the California tow lot for a number of days. d4vd is understood to be aware of the incident and is cooperating with the police on their investigation.

Deezer has an AI problem

French streaming service Deezer started flagging the AI music uploaded to its platform at the start of 2025. A new report published this week revealed that in that time around a third of all songs added to the service are AI uploads. The platform reported 10,000 daily AI-uploads in January, 20,000 in April, and 30,000 as of September 11. Deezer has also determined that the majority of streams on AI-generated tracks are also fake.

“Following a massive increase during the year, AI music now makes up a significant part of the daily track delivery to music streaming and we want to lead the way in minimizing any negative impact for artists and fans alike,” said Deezer’s CEO Alexis Lanternier.
