Primavera Sound Barcelona has announced its lineup for the festival's 2027 edition.
The packed musical festival, happening June 2-6 in Barcelona, is well known for representing artists from both mainstream pop and the bubbling underground. In June, The FADER went to Primavera Sound 2026 and chatted with its booker Pau Cristòful about the festival's curatorial strategy. Read the interview here.
The 2027 headliners include Doechii and Caroline Polacheck, both of whose inclusion raises questions on whether they will have new full-length albums by the festival's run date. Phoebe Bridgers will also play the festival; her current The Lost Tour doesn't allow phones, so Primavera Sound's livestream will presumably mean fans of Bridgers who were not able to make her sold-out tour will finally be able to catch a glimpse of the show.
Also of note in the top billed crew is Bad Gyal and Massive Attack, both of who's headlining sets last year were canceled due to rain. FKA twigs will play what is teased to be an "all-new show" according to a press release. Former GEN F stars ADÉLA, Theodora, and Ninajirachi will play — the latter doing a b2b set with Skrillex. The FADER's July cover star underscores will also bring her pop to Primavera. Kim Petras, Tinashe, Sophia Stel, Shygirl, @, and FADER doc stars ear will also perform following marquee years in their respective careers. ANOHNI will present a set of songs by her friend and collaborator Lou Reed. The FADER's 2017 cover star Hayley Williams is also billed as a headliner in 2027. Robyn, Isaiah Rashad, and Pavement, and FADER Mix alumna Arca and Boy Harsher are also part of the wide-ranging bill, which includes 151 musical acts in total.
