We were initially going to write a whole thing about how this would be a perfect entry point for people that haven’t been feeling Salem, but then we realized that those people hate Salem with such an intense burning passion that it will never happen. For everyone else, here is Jokers of the Scene‘s excellent remix of “Asia,” they’ve drawn the track out into a nine-and-a-half minute epic that warps Salem’s original into a heavier, less murky and more danceable song. They also seem to have added a heavy guitar drone pulse underneath the whole thing.
