YG's gotten into the same kind of thing with the cover art for "In Tha Morning", laying out a bedside tableau of significant objects: Ikea grade dishwasher-safe plate from the set your mom bought you, Nickelodeon slime lighter, couple metallic Skyns, one fluffy local grown nuglet, vitamin C in a rocks glass and all that money. We figure the story the collection is telling is that ashtrays get stale late at night but mornings can be as Cali citrus bathed and tart and sweet as you try to make them. Compared to the difficult way he was treating the high school ladies on "Toot It & Boot It", dudes laying out some heady compliments to his early bird on this kinda Gucci Mane/Drake fusion number that we're gonna chose to assume are the honest expressive equivalent of the happy-faced trumpet squeal that runs throughout.
