So, you might’ve heard, some epic shit is going down on the astrological front tonight. All of us over here are planning on staying up and braving the cold to catch this LUNAR ECLIPSE WHICH COINCIDES WITH WINTER SOLSTICE. Sorry, but this is on a whole other mystic, otherworldly coincidence level. Basically, the Earth, Sun and moon will become perfectly aligned so that the Earth’s shadow will be projected onto the moon’s surface. On top of that, this’ll all be happening on a night that many cultures/tribes hold rituals on. We’re all geared up for our very own moonlight ceremony— we got our red candles, prayer cards, and sacrifices ready to go. Agree with last two posters (Ashlee & Cyn). Was that last nights eclips? Seems that the moon would’ve been too high to get a shot in that perspective. Yes. I’m jelous! We didn’t get to see it here in Hali, Nova Scotia due to overcast …but I’m grateful for all who have shared their pix. TY!
