Casely-Hayford Stage Their First Runway Show

London designers Casely Hayford make their runway debut at the London Mens’ Collections for fall 2014.

Joe and Charlie, the father and son designers behind the eponymous line Casely-Hayford, have had a sartorial journey that's included seasons doing brilliant takes on the Afropunk to spiffy updates of Snoop Dogg's iconic hockey jerseys to stately, mature raver gear. But until today, never a runway show. For fall 2014, they finally sent their clothes walking down a catwalk as part of London Men's Collections, but even if the venue is different, but they're still employing their uncanny sense of layering, printed suiting, tunic-length shirts and double-layered blazers that sound crazy but surprisingly work. Check out our faves from today's collection below and read our feature story on the Casely-Hayford family, Inherited Resistance, from FADER 72.
