This past Tuesday, the Golden State Warriors won their first NBA championship in 40 years. On Friday, an estimated 1.1. million fans gathered around Lake Merritt in Oakland, to celebrate the team and their city.

Reflecting the light of that win, Bay Area guardians Lil B, Kehlani, G-Eazy, Iamsu!, and P-Lo have come together for "Champion," a tribute to the East Bay and the spirit of the people who live there.

As you may remember, Lil B had a better NBA Finals than any non-athlete that was not Riley Curry. Here, B knocks his anti-violence cleanup verse out of the park. P-Lo produced the beat; Su wrote the hook; G-Eazy raps about his Vans; Kehlani is not a rapper but she damn near sounds like an exceptional one when she's like: Welcome to the Bay, it's the land of the real / The home of the honest, the home of no chill.
