This past Friday night, Lollapalooza festival-goers turned up for a post-fest rager featuring a Bixel Boys DJ set and a performance by A-Trak. The late-night party, hosted by The FADER at the #DellLounge powered by Windows 10, made sure the energy of Lollapalooza's first day transferred to the after hours. Bixel Boys’ hip-hop heavy opening set kicked the night into gear as the eclectic crowd danced. Goth punk divas mingled with junior backpack rappers, sk8r bois, and the finest honeys imaginable while sipping a variety of Tito’s vodka cocktails.
When folks needed a break from the dance floor, little pockets of surprises—from a chill, rooftop deck strung with multicolored lights to super-comfy couches, and neon LED wall art to ping pong tables—were available on every floor. But the party was truly lit once A-Trak took to the elevated stage. "I’m seeing 5, 6, 7 Snapchat videos. That’s how you know a song is blowing up," he said before transitioning into an energetic mix of rap, trap, and house jams. As folks jumped on top of wooden benches to grind to Brenmar and UNiiQU3’s "Hula Hoop," the party, which had started hours earlier, didn’t show any signs of letting up.
