Phoebe Ryan Gets High On Kisses On “Chronic”

“’Chronic’ is about when you’re making out with someone and you never ever want it to stop. Also they smell like weed and you enjoy that too.”

L.A. singer Phoebe Ryan may be afraid of commitment—It's my greatest fear, loving anyone, anything—but it would appear that she very much enjoys getting stoned and making out. On her gauzy new electro-pop single "Chronic," she sings in a whispery alto about the kind of kisses that get you high, both literally and figuratively: Your chronic, I want it/ like, all the time.

Or, as she more succinctly explained it in an email to The FADER: "'Chronic' is about when you're making out with someone and you never ever want it to stop. Also they smell like weed and you enjoy that too."
