This month, boutique record label Neon Gold turns 10 and to celebrate, they're releasing a compilation album of rarities, exclusives, and covers from the label's history. Today, The FADER is premiering "Heart Attack," from that album which is a stunning duet between pop geniuses Phoebe Ryan and Tove Lo.

The song came out of Neon Gold's writing retreat in the Nicaraguan jungle earlier this year. After Tove and Phoebe danced on a boat all day, they hit the studio and made some bops.

"That's the best way to start a song in my opinion," Phoebe said. "Tove and Tommy English and Imad Royal couldn't have been a better team. Something magic was going on. We all felt it. I'll never forget how much fun it was to create this song."

Tove backed up the good vibes and vacation memories. "The four of us originally had a session planned the day after but got excited and used the buzz as inspiration," she said. "You never know what it’s gonna sound like the day after when you’ve had a pretty blurry session, so we were happily surprised. I get so much music and inspiration from the Neon Gold camps and writing this song with Pheebs who I looove and all my homies was such a blast!!"

Listen to the song above. This Saturday, Neon Gold will hold their tenth anniversary concert in NYC with scheduled performances by The Knocks, Marina & The Diamonds, BROODS, Matt Maeson, Alex Winston, LPX, Your Smith, and more.
