Gifted popstar and songwriter Phoebe Ryan is back today with a dazzling new single "Be Real," where she attempts to cut through all the bullshit of her relationship with a simple ask for honesty. The song will be included on her upcoming EP, due out this fall.
In an email to The FADER, Ryan explained that the song has nautical roots. “Be Real is one of the most special songs I've ever written," she said. "I wrote it on a boat with two of my closest friends two summers ago, and I've just been waiting for the perfect moment to release it. It's one my favorite songs to perform live, because even after all this time, it still gives me the feeeeels."
