Erykah Badu hasn't put out an album since 2010, but she's been increasingly active in the last six months. In November, she released the But You Caint Use My Phone mixtape. The singer teased a follow-up project, performed a one-woman show, and is reportedly involved with the movie The Land.
According to a profile in The New Yorker, Badu is also working on a score for Legends Of Chamberlain Heights, a forthcoming animated series on Comedy Central. "I had to interview alongside all these other composers," she tells The New Yorker. "Talked all kinds of shit. 'Deadlines? No problem!'"
